Hello Lennny,
many users told me they have ceased to use the website because to too long delays each time they pas through the front page (about 12 seconds each) .
I know how to solve it - I can help
restore functionality - ACTIVE ATC SHOWN ON MAP
Good afternoon,
Is it possible to make a soaring event?
My events on Mon and Fri are Workshop events
1/2 School 1/2 practice
My Sat event are normal ATC events
editing each is not only complicate but awfully time consuming
The REMARK field should allow to maintain
and other formatting.
It is currently a pain to re edit them ...each time.
2 Bugs in your algorithm / design for the statistics.
1. bug
- from 1600z to 2200z your algorithm compute 7 hours instead of ... 6
2. bug
- as an absolute rule I am there from 10 minutes before all my session
and never close before the announced time
+ if people is still flying inbound I keep all "open" until there.
Providing this seriousness and reliability is the result of an long lasting effort that deserve better than be rated as :
"This event is very long and may not probably last 7 hours "
Despite I understand your try and I salute your good idea, I hope you quickly correct this unfair point.
Everyone creating a flightplan or an event should be given the possibility to specify the timezone of the begin and end time. The specified timezone should then be displayed in the event / flightplan
When there is an ATC available it sais at wich airport but not what server you have to log on to interact with it. Or i'm just blind and its my fault.
format control on field AIRCRAFT TYPE
it is supposed to have ACFT TYPE following ICAO 8643.
[A-Z|0-9] [A-Z|0-9] [A-Z|0-9] [A-Z|0-9]
and why not providing the link :
https://www.icao.int/publications/DOC8643/Pages/Search.aspx
this is a free link and V.pilots could find proper ACFT Type.
The benefit would help ATC to have quick and proper lookup on planes capabilities before to offer awkward vectors...
Woosh
Global Security.
We have started to see there around "tech savvy" users already causing or trying to cause some negation of service.
Would it not be the proper time to start to review a bit the global security ?
Woosh
Thank you very much for your service.
Hi, I like the new look, but I can't see flightplans from other pilots, only ATC events.
I fly, don't do ATC, but I liked to see the existing flightplans for the day to get ideas of where's the action happening
----
Hello i've made some changes: you click on the flightplan count of a day and it shows all flight plans of the day. could you please tell me if it's fine now?
Can we please get some account management forms? It's not that hard of a thing to create. I as a web dev focus on those things first, how is this not common sense?
- Email reset
- Password change
- Account deletion
I think this website should hava an FG multiplayer map, to help the ATC and to help the pilots with the flight planing. With this extra, the website will be the best
Well, there is one controller, jomo, who out of nowhere neglected me from a session, claiming that he had told me before... it was my first time on flightgear trying ATC.... Please fix this....
add a passowrd reset field please
Yo all,
I found that in openradar if in the flightplan tab we identified with our email and password, this email address is clearly visible on the dev-etc page. so 3 possibility:
- creates a spam address for this effect.
- do not identify me.
- put my username while he is asking for my email.
I try the last 2 it works as expected. then the question comes to what is the point of authentication? is our nickname recognized with the password?
hello tous,
