Get involved : what could be improved ?

Your ideas will be shown below
AF2222 2017-06-20 12:51:28 Bonjour,
Bien cordialement,
AF2222 2017-06-11 19:07:56 Hello,
I do not understand the logic of the order of presentation of flight plans.
Typically, if I open a tower in Nice, I am obliged to read everything to find (or not) a flight that concerns me.
It would seem logical to sort them by arrival time, and better yet:
- Be able to choose between departure / arrival times.
- To be able to select an airport, and to present the flight plans concerning it in order of relevance (ex: 1 departure at 22H10, arrival at 22H30, another departure at 22H55, etc).
Best regard.

Hello, first of all thanks for using flightgear-atc service. I take your remark into consideration.
The flightplans appears in a specific way: closed ones should appear at the end, filled one on the top and opened one in between.
Your remark allows me to think about a filter. It was not originally planned to "help" ATCs, as you already have a managed flight plan list in your ATC software (ATCpie or OpenRadar). I don't know how well the flightgear-atc flight plans appear in OpenRadar but they are well managed into ATCPie.
Anyway it might help to make filters only visible for ATCs wanting to see the traffic in/outbound the airport.
AF2222 2017-06-11 19:04:01 Bonjour,

simbambim 2015-10-17 13:09:43 I get these errors when opening the page, see screenshot.
Davide Gessa 2015-10-14 17:43:01 The site is very usable now, but I prefer the old graphic design; I suggest to customize the default bootstrap theme

@Davide Gessa
Thanks for your feedback. The major work has been on readability. The previous one was not that good, especially regarding the calendar. You had to click on a date, wait for the page to refresh, then scroll down to see the events... Here you just click it's immediate. If you have suggestions please contact me directly via the form above! Thanks :) Lenny
LHCARGO 2015-10-07 23:29:39 Maybe it is possible to make a pilot list. For Example:
Emirate190 200h online
LHCARGO 350h offline
But nice work!!!

Thanks for your proposal. I will try to make something similar but this website is initially ATC-focused. For tracking/stats i really recommend you to visit , really great tracker.
TeXnicer 2015-09-23 10:13:19 - my pictures ;)
- flightplan transfers "remarks" to openradar
- flightplan transfers more information to openradar
- map of ATCs (actually redundant)
- voice solution, frequency based, for all FG users ... like FGCOM should have been.
CaptB 2015-06-29 10:57:58 First, thanks for your work on the site, much appreciated!

I host the "Monthly ATC Session" at Copenhagen, and as this is a special educational event it would be great to have the remarks we fill when registering the event to be displayed when a user looks at the day's events or checks the upcoming event at the calendar.

I think this would be also beneficial to others who would like to host specific events ( VFR only is one example )

KIWI34 2015-06-24 12:14:03 maybe a chatroom?

John 2015-03-20 19:56:08 First things first: Very nice job with the page mate!

Could you extend the width of the input #apt_fgcom on file-fp-form to at least 300px or so?

This way i could more easily add multiple com-frequencies (or ++split the com-freq-field into 2/3 Parts: "TWR/GND", "APP")

What do you think about? Cheers

In response, your idea has been approved. The FGCom field is now wider. Cheers, Lenny.
TeXnicer 2015-01-26 07:30:38 Great Idea
Henrik 2015-01-16 16:28:27 Would be possible to generate a somesort of calendar feed of the ATC events? I'm a pretty avid Google Calendar user myself :)

That's indeed a nice idea. I should see how to integrate those events into Google Calendar.
Israel Hernandez 2014-11-12 16:40:13 The Aircraft pilots register for their flight plans doesnt show

ElGaton 2014-04-27 10:56:31 Another possible improvement came to mind - will it be possible to amend flightplans in the future?

Interesting. For now you can only add information by clicking on "Add comment" when you select a FP on the interface. You can cancel a FP by adding a comment telling you won't fly. But the initial FP remains, like in real life.
David 2014-02-08 09:19:44 To be honest, I don\'t think we need TinyMCE here, or any HTML formatting at all. Keep it simple.
ElGaton 2014-01-25 15:36:33 I think the following features may be useful:
1) it should be possible for ATCs to delete sessions;
2) the Remarks section should support newlines and, if possible, basic formatting (simple HTML, adequately filtered - see e.g. the TinyMCE project - or BBCode).

Thanks for your feedback, I'm going to see what i can do. 1) will be simple but 2) should be a bit difficult, as my server is very limited in features/capabilities !
David 2014-01-08 21:08:39 The new calendar-like view makes it difficult to see the filled flight plan as the column is too narrow.

@David ok thanks for your feedback. I'm going to see what i can do to improve this behaviour. I should show a pop-up when you click on the flightplan. Same thing than the airport info displayed when you click on it.
